Through his eyes. The life of a 3 year old boy...

My days are spent in comfy pants, and unwashed hair in a pony tail. Knees deep in toy duty, elbows deep in dishes, and neck deep in laundry. Not to mention the numerous "projects", and "fun things" I come up with to do (which often ends in my honey having to aide in finishing, as I tend to get in over my head. Sorry about that love. :-/ )...Which then leads him to suggesting, very sweetly, that we finish the projects we already have started before we take on new tasks. As new tasks tend to make the chaos even worse, and the house an even bigger mess, since I bring most of my projects right into the living room floor! I do love having a house we can really live in though. I dont want to worry about every little thing that happens, I just want to live and have fun!... There really is nothing glamorous or "attractive" to the everyday duties of a Mother of 3 children under 4 years old trying to maintain her sanity... Don't let media or anyone tell you any different. Not that it is not rewarding because truly it is!... It is just not glamorous by any means, and there are many days when it is exhausting and you feel it is never going to end! Oh, wait! It's not going to end... Haha EVER!!... LOL... However, moments make the no light at the end of the tunnel so worth it. Like the moment when you finally get into the shower and all seems well... Showers going and you start to hear a noise that sounds familiar. Yep it's the sound of your iPhone camera and the all too familiar pitter patter of those 3 year old's flippers tapping clumsily around the wood floors as he jets about the house snapping away. You stand there hoping he doesn't drop or break your phone as you hurry as quickly as possible. The result though is something of pure beauty. The life through the eyes of a child, the things that are relevant to him and the way he see things... Truly artistic with unhindered creativity and such excitment...

Create AMAZING habits...

From E.Schar
Life moves fast, sometimes too fast in my opinion. So many days are spent  in repetition of the previous day and the days and weeks and months before that until they almost seem to acutally become one giant revolving day or door. The things that we do repeatedly actually form our life's reality. And in essence we actually become the things we do, we become the habitual actions. We tend to do things the easy way or quickly to get things "done", and before we even realize it a lot of time has gone by. It is now something we automatically do without much thought. It becomes mindless and normal, and whether it be negatively affecting us seems to no longer matter once it has become us, or our "habit". It is so important to make the actions and habits we create be benefical to our lives and lifestyles, including our families, children, friends, pets ect... We have to see ourselves for what we are, the keepers of our own fate and we have to know it and believe in our abilities to make beauty of the gift of life. And to teach our children that no matter what obstacles they come up against they have within them the power to be whatever they choose. We have power, and we are all connected to a higher self. Look deep and determine who you want to be and create those thoughts and take action. You are the habits you make, so create AMAZING habits and be great examples to your children. Our souls can reach enlightenment when what we think, matches our actions, and matches our words...

Mini Apples Pies! So, cute and tasty!

From E.Schar

You will need 6 granny smith apples, 1 pie crust, 1/4 cup sugar and 1tablespoon brown sugar. Cut off the top of 4 apples off and discard. Remove the inside of each apple with a spoon very carefully, as to not puncture the peel. Remove skin from 2 additional apples and slice very thinly. These apple pieces will give you filling needed to fill the four apples you are baking. Mix sliced apples with sugars and cinnamon in a bowl. If you prefer more or less cinnamon and sugar, make adjustments as desired. Scoop sliced apples into hollow apples. Roll out pie crust and slice into 1/4 inch strips. You can also add a strip of pastry inside the top of the apple almost like a liner to add a little more texture/sweetness to the pie. Cover the top of the apple in a lattice pattern with pie crust strips. Place apples in an 8×8 pan. Add just enough water to the cover the bottom of the pan. Cover with foil and bake for 20-25 minutes. Remove foil and bake for an additional 20 minutes or until crust is golden brown and sliced apples are soft.

Create good habits...

From E.Schar
Habits are something you do everyday for the unseen NEED you have to fulfill that void. Habits live with most people all their life's. They are hard to break, and positive habits are hard to TRULY create. To make a habit truly stick and become part of who you are, you must be unrelentingly constant in producing it. The habits we need to all have are habits that improve our lives, they must be habits that serve purpose to our being. Identify the habits that are inhibiting your life, isolate them, and discover a way to break them...Make the habits that stick with you through it all, be habits that truly serve you!...
