Hello Everyone...
First off, happy Tuesday! Loving getting into the week. So, many leads this week. Feeling really excited to help people get started in their new ventures, and coaching them! Something I have been thinking about lately is how much you hear people complain! It starts to get exhausting... I try to just take it all with a grain of salt, and understand it from a positive perspective. However, I am realizing that a huge majority of things people complain about are things that they have complete power of changing. When you stop to think about what people are upset about most the time it is one of two things... One being their weight/ way they look, and, two being their relationships, whether it be with their spouse, boyfriend, girlfriend, mother, father, siblings etc... Humans, as a whole, are afraid of change, it horrifies us. And the only constant in life is change, so this creates massive discord in our lives. The best way to truly find out why we are complaining about something is to find its source and take a long deep look into this source. Find out when and why it started and then look at ourselves, before we start looking at others, as the ones to blame. Then, this is the biggest step is... change. If you do not like the way you look become committed to making a lifestyle change, if you are not enjoying your relationship go you counseling or get some kind of help. If you don't want to save it, don't! But make a decision, do not just live life in Limbo where you are not happy and complaining about things you can change... Know that you have POWER! And we are all beautiful and one in each other. Love yourself enough to make positive changes in you life, and I guarantee the ones you love will jump on the ban wagon of change and acceptance with you. Do it for your life... XOXO... ;-)
This is so true and I so appreciate it because I hate to complain. I'm not saying I never do it but I usually cringe when I catch myself :) My favorite quote is "If you don't like something change it. If you can't change it, change your attitude. Don't complain." ~ Maya Angelou. Following you from MBC. I would love for you to check out my blog. Thanks ~Heather @ http://lovelybeautifulsmiles.blogspot.com
